Material
I paint my paintings with acrylic paint on canvas. I also experiment with using different materials to create structure on the paintings. I like using sand from different places in the world. Sand that's made up of different kinds of rock and has been formed by the waves of the sea and currents, from changes in temperature, wind and downfall. By letting every kind of sand get its own personal space on the painting in different areas or different layers of paint they can work together and become more than their sole entity.
