VEDIC ART

Vedic Art, founded by the artist Curt Källman (educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Art Stockholm, Sweden), is an art programme that concerns itself with the drive behind creating rather than how you draw and paint technically. The 17 principles of Vedic Art help us to create beyond the demands of producing and being technically precise, and to understand that art is not about depicting but to make visible. Creating gives us knowledge both about ourselves and about life.

Vedic Art is built on old Vedic knowledge. The ancient Vedic scribes from India tell us that just as a seed knows it will become a flower so is also all knowledge of ourselves and life itself within us. A knowledge that is possible to awaken.

When we create with the help of the 17 principles of Vedic Art we learn to use the entire brain and to develop a higher conscience.

You just have to make one brush stroke and then another and off you go.
